Global Water Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: GWRS) has announced the accquisition of Francesca Water Company. After acquiring Francesca, the total active connections reached 47,769 as Francesca will add 115 active water connections. The new connections are near to the service area of the lately purchased Mirabell Water Company utility of GWRS.
This is the second investment of Global Water Resources this year after the purchase of Mirabell Water Company in October. This firm is also preparing to make new investments the following year. Global Water Resources reported that this is a low-risk deal.
