Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (NASDAQ: MBII) has inked a collaboration agreement with Terramera. Both the firm will join hands to merge their technological and biological knowledge to improve the performance of MBI’s crop protection products and accelerate product development.
It has been anticipated that the partnership of MBI with Terramera will offer a unique platform that will bring current and new biologicals to market maintained by Terramera’s artificial intelligence-based screening platform of novel adjuvants, Plant Intelligence Engine rtc.
Furthermore, Terramera believes that the firm is delighted to join hands with Marrone Bio to speed up their established crop protection products with ActigateTM and its digital platforms, both of which enhance product performance in the field. Moreover, the firm considers that a partnership with Marrone Bio Innovations will promote Terramera’s goal of lowering the synthetic pesticide load in agriculture by 80%.
In addition to this, MBI stated that it is always striving to revolutionize and partner with businesses that share its pledge to producing new technologies which support sustainable agriculture and improve its ability to grow original products that offer growers amplified efficacy and industry-leading ROI.
Additionally, it has been revealed that other than this partnership, field trials are scheduled for late summer and early fall to test the performance of the blend of two commercially available products, MBI’s Venerate XC Bioinsecticide and Terramera’s Rango. Moreover, additional tests are planned for spring 2022.
