Nokia Corporation (NYSE: NOK) disclosed that India’s first carrier-neutral network infrastructure platform, Lightstorm has chosen Nokia to support the platform to deploy its digital operations software. The deployment is in full swing across India and will be applied to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Lightstorm’s customers will be able to get benefit from the quick and efficient execution of service requests after the deployment of digital operations software.

Head of Emerging Markets believed that this implementation is based on Nokia’s relationship with AWS, which promotes the development and implementation of telecom-specific cloud-native solutions for communication service providers. Lightstorm disclosed that Nokia's Digital Operations software on AWS will help the firm understand its vision of building a software-defined programmable and automated network.

As per the Nokia and Lightstorm collaboration, Nokia will digitize Lightstorm’s service fulfillment and service assurance processes. It will provide an opportunity for the company to build new revenue streams by providing Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) solutions to their enterprise customers. This implementation will allow Lightstorm to enter and establish itself quickly in India’s NaaS market as a greenfield operator.
